Matrix Funds
Effective July 22, 2010, Matrix Funds Management became manager of the Matrix Funds. Prior to that date, Mavrix Fund Management Inc. was the manager of all the Matrix Funds other than (i) Matrix Conservative Dividend & Income Fund, Matrix Canadian Equity Fund and Matrix North American Equity Fund, which were managed by SEAMARK Asset Management Ltd., and (ii) Matrix International Income Balanced Fund, Matrix International Balanced Fund and Matrix U.S. Equity Fund (Corporate Class), which are new Funds.

Matrix Funds Management refers to Matrix Funds Management (a division of Growth Works Capital Ltd.) and its related companies providing management and portfolio management services to the Matrix mutual funds. Matrix Funds Management is registered with certain provincial securities regulatory authorities in the categories of portfolio manager, mutual fund dealer and exempt market dealer. Team members include directors, officers and employees of Matrix Funds Management and its related companies.
In connection with measures to streamline and strengthen administration, effective July 22, 2010, Mavrix Fund Management Inc. and SEAMARK Asset Management Ltd. (both of which are affiliates of Matrix Funds Management) each resigned as manager of those Funds for which it had until then acted as manager, and Matrix Funds Management was appointed as the successor manager of each of those Funds. The ultimate parent of Matrix Management, Mavrix Fund Management Inc. and SEAMARK Asset Management Ltd. is Matrix Asset Management Inc., a TSX-listed diversified asset management company.
